Please read and make sure you understand the terms and conditions of using Bobs Airport Shuttle and Minibus Service.

Airport/Cruise and General Shuttle Service

  1. The agreed fare must be paid in full upon booking either via Credit Card through the online booking system, or EFT. Cash payments will NOT BE accepted. Neither the booking nor payment would be accepted in advance if there are reasonable grounds for believing that the service could not be supplied within the period specified by the passenger, or within a reasonable time.
  2. We accept any c/card payments. Note: Credit card charges will apply.
  3. The surcharges may be applicable to your journey if:
    • A pick up is required between 4:30am – 5:30am. This will be $10.00 AUD on top of your fare
    • A pick up is required between 3:30am – 4:30am. This will be $20.00 AUD on top of your fare
    • A pick up is required between 2:30am – 3:30am. This will be $30.00 AUD on top of your fare
    • A pick up is required between 1:30am – 2:30am. This will be $40.00 AUD on top of your fare
    • Your scheduled flight arrival is between 6:30pm – 7:30pm. This will be $10.00 AUD on top of your fare
    • Your scheduled flight arrival is between 7:30pm – 8:30pm. This will be $20.00 AUD on top of your fare
    • Your scheduled flight arrival is between 8:30pm – 11:00pm. This will be $30.00 AUD on top of your fare
    • Your scheduled flight arrival is later than 11:00pm. This will be $40.00 AUD on top of your fare
    • Your scheduled flight arrival is on a public holiday. This will be $30.00 AUD on top of your fare
  4. No Smoking or Eating is allowed on any of the buses. Non-alcoholic beverages are permitted.
  5. Any offensive behaviour or language, or damage/vandalism of our property or vehicles, abusive or offensive behaviour towards driver or a third party, throwing any object from the bus, interference with the comfort or safety of other persons, putting feet on a seat or spitting will result with immediate removal of the offending passenger(s) at the nearest safe location. It will then be the passenger’s own responsibility to make it to their flight OR destination. In more serious incidents, if the driver believes on reasonable grounds, that the conduct of a passenger is endangering the safety of any person, the matter will be reported to police. If the passenger is in violation of safety rules or interferes with the comfort of driver or other passengers which result in the passenger being removed from the vehicle, the fare will not be refundable. The passengers are liable for the cost of any damage, spillage, cleaning or any other losses caused to the business.
  6. Bobs Airport Shuttle and Mini Bus Hire will not be held responsible for any act or omission of another person or organisation, or some other cause beyond its control, including but not limited to: passenger/s not present on pickup, missing connecting flight, road closures, traffic accidents, road restrictions, traffic jams, breakdowns, inclement weather, civil unrest, act of terror, incorrect, incomplete or misleading directions, incorrect choice or selection of a service (for instance booking a shuttle shared service instead of a direct service etc.). 
  7. REGULAR SHUTTLE TIMES MAY BE ADJUSTED UP TO 90 MINUTES. PLEASE BE AWAREOF THE FOLLOWING, WHEN BOOKING FOR A PARTICULAR TIME.THE REGULAR SHUTTLE FARE IS A MULTI PICKUP SHUTTLE SERVICE WITH NO TOLLS USED. (Airport/Cruise Shuttle)
    PICKUP TIMES MAY BE CHANGED TO SUIT OUR SHUTTLE RUNS DUE TO ALLOCATIONS, WEATHER AND ALSO AS TRAFFIC AROUND THE AIRPORT/CRUISE TERMINALS AND SYDNEY SUBURBS IS BECOMING INCREASINGLY WORSE.IF YOU NEED A SPECIFIC PICKUP TIME BECAUSE OF EXPRESS OR ONLINE CHECK IN PLEASE CONSIDER THE OTHER OPTIONS WE PROVIDE.
    If you require a more personalised service or as close to booking time as possible, there are two other options you may also choose from, they are as follows:
    1. Private Charter, EXTRA LUGGAGE ALLOCATION, your pick up only – TOLLS NOT USED -Add $30.00 Each Way to STANDARD SHUTTLE PRICE.
  8. It is the Passenger’s responsibility to supply full and accurate flight/cruise/train number, check-in time, departure time, arrival time, and any other relevant information which relate to their arrival and/or departure.
  9. Any incorrectly supplied information may result in cancellation of reservation and incur a cancellation fee. In such an event, the Passenger will be refunded the balance of the already paid booking fee after deducting the cancellation fee. Please refer to the schedule of fees for detailed pricing information.
  10. In a case of late changes (i.e. changes in return flight arrival/departure date and/or time), it is the passenger’s responsibility to inform Bobs Airport Shuttle and Mini Bus Hire of the change at least 48 hours before their scheduled arrival to Sydney or departure from Sydney (phone call, texts or email during business hours or text to 1300 668 582 or +61 412 781 559  (Operations mobile +61412 781559 after hours). Any request for late changes made in a shorter period than 48 hours, will be processed on the best-effort basis only and there is no guarantee that such a late request could always be accommodated. If the passenger refuses reasonable alternate arrangements (subject to shuttle availability) a late change fee will be incurred. Please refer to the schedule of fees for detailed pricing information.
  11. If the passenger does not show at a designated time and place, the booking will be cancelled, and cancellation fee would apply. The allocated driver will attempt to contact the passenger to reschedule the booking subject to availability. Bobs Airport Shuttle and Mini Bus Hire do not guarantee accepting a rescheduled booking. When a rescheduled booking has been accepted by the passenger and Bobs Airport Shuttle and Mini Bus Hire then a reschedule fee would apply.
  12. The passengers must follow the pick-up procedures provided upon confirmation of the booking and if applicable, SMS or email.
  13. Sydney International Airport Terminal 1 Arrival Instructions

 

 

You would have received a driver name and contact number by Sydney Charter Bus by email or phone prior to arriving at Sydney International Airport. The minibus or coach will be waiting at the minibus and coach holding area located near the long term car park close to the Domestic Terminals, about 15 minutes from the collection point.

Only when everybody has collected their luggage and is are ready to go, you should call the driver and proceed to the Bus & Coach pickup area.

When the driver receives the call he/she will go to the pickup area.
Passenger arrivals shall walk out of the terminal on the ground floor and turn RIGHT and proceed to pickup area where the bus or coach will be arriving or waiting. If no driver phone number has been allocated please text SMS the office mobile on +61412781559.During AM & PM peak hour services, the travel time for the bus from the holding area to the pickup zone will be longer.

Coach Area (34-60 seaters)

2-3 minutes

Shuttle Area (12-16 seaters)

3-4 minutes

Minibus Area (20-25 seaters)

4-5 minutes

Micro Area (7-10 seaters)

5-6 minutes

It is your responsibility to confirm booking VIA EMAIL at least 24 hours prior to departure. We reserve the right to change pickup times for any shared shuttle service as we may need to allow extra time for roster adjustments, heavy traffic, weather, or other conditions. This may be up to 90 minutes either way depending on the situation. Please keep this in mind when booking.

Sydney Domestic Airport Terminal 2 Arrival Instructions

Call Driver:

Once your group have collected their bags and are ready to go, please call the driver to let him or her know you are making your way to the pickup area.The driver will either be at the pickup area or be in the holding bays and will make their way to the pickup area.

Location:

 

 

Terminal 2 (T2) Coach Pickup Area is located next to the terminal.

Terminal 2 (T2) Minibus Pickup Area is located next to the coach bays.

Make your way through the exit at Baggage Carousel 6.

The coach bays are located immediately as you exit.

The minibus bays are a bit further along, continue following the footpath to the right to an area called the Horseshoe (under the overpass).

Sydney Domestic Airport Terminal 3 Arrival Instructions

Call Driver:

Once your group have collected their bags and are ready to go, please call the driver to let him or her know you are making your way to the pickup area.

The driver will either be at the pickup area or be in the holding bays and will make their way to the pickup area.

Location:

 

 

Terminal 3 (T3) Group Pickup Area is located next to the terminal

Make your way through the exit at baggage carousel 1 and once outside head left and follow the footpath around until you see the “Group Buses” sign.

Once in the pickup area you will see the coaches and minibus bays.

  1. If the passenger arrives and clears the customs area early i.e. less than 60 mins for international and less than 30mins for domestic arrivals, the passenger is to contact either office number 1300 668 582 or Operations mobile +61 412 781 559 to enable our fast-tracked service. This service is free of charge and is subject to availability and road conditions.
  2. All drivers on duty have been instructed to call or text customers. Customers must strictly follow pick up or call procedures. Any passenger’s complaints should be referred to Bobs Airport Shuttle and Mini Bus Hire for internal investigation and resolution. The passenger will be contacted upon the closure of investigation and informed of the findings. If a complaint was substantiated, a full refund of the received fees will be offered to the passenger.
  3. If the Passenger is uncontactable and fails to show within the waiting time at the designated pick-up area, there will be no guarantee that the designated bus would wait for the late passenger. The waiting fee of $55.00 per hour or part thereof may apply for any waiting period. If the passenger misses the designated bus as per the schedule and fails to contact either office number 1300 668 582 or Operations mobile +61 412 781 559, the fare will be forfeited.
  4. The Passengers are to follow instructions and procedures provided at the time of booking. In case of an emergency, the Passengers may leave a voice message on our office number 1300 668 582 or Operations mobile +61 412 781 559. No calls will be returned to customers after business hours. Irrespectively, Bobs Airport Shuttle and Mini Bus Hire will aim to reply by SMS via Operations mobile +61 412 781 559. as is feasible and possible to do so.
  5. No bookings will be accepted within 48 hours of the pickup time, unless authorised by management. If this is the case, a late booking fee may be incurred.
  6. Any booking cancellations requested less than 48 hours prior to the booking (during business hours only) will attract a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the full fare.
  7. Any booking cancellation requested between 5 working days and 48 hours prior to the booking will attract a cancellation fee on a sliding scale reducible by 25% of the full fare for each working day. (ie cancellation requested 4 days prior to the scheduled pickup will attract cancellation fee of 25%, cancellation requested 3 days prior to the scheduled pickup will attract cancellation fee of 50%, cancellation requested 2 days prior to the scheduled pickup will attract 75% etc).
  8. Any request for a duplicate tax invoice will occur administrative charge of $5.50.

  1. In the Event of a Bus breaking down, Bobs Airport Shuttle and Mini Bus Hire will arrange alternative transport such as a Taxi / other bus company shuttle and Bobs Airport Shuttle and Mini Bus Hire will reimburse the passenger(s) the difference between our quoted fare and the cost of the Taxi. In the event of a Taxi not turning up and a passenger missing a flight, Bobs Airport Shuttle & Mini Bus Hire will not be liable for the passenger missing the flight.
  2. It is the passenger’s responsibility to ensure that all booking detail are correct:
    • Check in time (please confirm with your airline)
    • Departure Time (please confirm this with your airline)
    • Arrival Time (please confirm this with your airline using Sydney local time)
    • Flight Number

No responsibility will be taken by Bobs Airport Shuttle and Mini Bus Hire for a passenger not showing up at the correct time or missing a flight / cruise due to incorrectly supplied information.

Charter Bus Service

  1. The agreed fare must be paid in full before the Charter either via Credit Card over the phone, through the online booking system, or by EFT. Cash payments could be made to the driver at the beginning of the Charter. Neither the booking nor payment would be accepted in advance if there are reasonable grounds for believing that the service could not be supplied within the period specified by the passenger or within a reasonable time.
  2. Any booking cancellations requested less than 48 hours prior to the booking (during business hours only) will attract a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the full fare.
  3. Any booking cancellation requested between 5 working days and 48 hours prior to the booking will attract a cancellation fee on a sliding scale reducible by 25% of the full fare for each working day. (ie cancellation requested 4 days prior to the scheduled pickup will attract cancellation fee of 25%, cancellation requested 3 days prior to the scheduled pickup will attract cancellation fee of 50%, cancellation requested 2 days prior to the scheduled pickup will attract 75% etc).
  4. We accept any c/card payments, union pay and cheques. Note: Credit card charges will apply.
  5. C/card bond is compulsory before any charter work can be completed. Upon completion of the charter, the bus will be inspected and if no damages have been found as a result your journey, the bond will be refunded within 1 week.

In more serious incidents, if the driver believes, on reasonable grounds, that the conduct of a passenger is endangering the safety of any person, the matter will be reported to police. If the passenger is in violation of safety rules or interferes with the comfort of driver or other passengers which result in cancellation of the charter, the fare will not be refundable. The passengers are liable for the cost of any damage, spillage, cleaning or any other losses caused to the business.
  8. The bond will be used to cover any repair OR clean up costs incurred during the Charter. Should the repair/cleaning costs exceed the bond amount, the Charter party(s) will be liable to reimburse the full costs within 48 hours.
  9. Consuming alcohol on the bus would be allowed at a discretion of the driver and/or Bobs Airport Shuttle and Mini Bus Hire representative. Bobs Airport Shuttle and Mini Bus Hire reserve the right to revoke such a permission without notice.

  11. Bobs Airport Shuttle and Mini Bus Hire reserves the right to change the vehicle and or driver originally booked if the conditions of the hire requires the change. in the event of emergency/or event organiser preventing the bus to enter the specific location.Neither party shall be liable in damages or have the right to terminate this Agreement for any delay or default in performing hereunder if such delay or default is caused by conditions beyond its reasonable control including, but not limited to Acts of God, Government restrictions (including the denial or cancellation of any export or other necessary license), wars, insurrections, strikes, including, without limitation, failure of suppliers, subcontractors, and carriers, bad weather, and/or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the party whose performance is affected to substantially meet its performance obligations under this Agreement.
  12. In the Event of a Bus breaking down, Bobs Airport Shuttle and Mini Bus Hire will arrange alternative transport such as a Taxi / other bus company shuttle and Bobs Airport Shuttle and Mini Bus Hire will reimburse the passenger(s) the difference between our quoted fare and the cost of the Taxi. In the event of a Taxi not turning up and a passenger missing a flight, Bobs Airport Shuttle & Mini Bus Hire will not be liable for the passenger missing the flight. Customer assumes the full responsibility to book the alternative means of transport.

Cancellations

All cancellations must be made in writing. Should the Hirer wish to cancel a booking where the Hirer has paid in either full or part for the booking the following refund terms shall apply:

–          Any cancellation requests must be acknowledged by us via reply email from one of our representatives. You must email your cancellation request through and ensure that you receive a reply email from us confirming that your journey is cancelled. We will accept no responsibility for cancellation requests made via phone, message service or email that has not been acknowledged by US.

–          We reserve the right to charge you, the client, a cancellation fee of:

o   20% of the total booking amount if you cancel for any reason (this is the non-refundable deposit).

o   25% of the total booking amount if cancelled with 7 days notice of your first journey (business days only) but not less than 96 business hours.

o   50% of the total booking amount if cancelled with less than 96 hours notice (business days only) of your first journey but not less than 48 hours

o   100% of the total booking amount if cancelled with less than 48 hours notice (business days only) of your first journey.

NOTE: The cancellation fee will be automatically charged to your card if your journey is cancelled within these terms.

Cancellation of an event or holiday or “reason for travel” does not affect the Hirer’s liability for the above cancellation fees and the monies will be due as if the vehicle was travelling.
